Sunday 1st October saw Ross Ladies play Leominster Ladies in the first ever Herefordshire FA Women's Development League. Our women's section has been going since January 2016 and the team have played many friendly games and tournaments. The team have had great fun doing this and had some good results but have found it challenging at times against well established teams that have been in existence for a long time and who play regularly together.
This new HFA league though gives the team the chance to pitch themselves against other recently formed women's teams in a competitive environment. The first game saw Ross come from two behind to draw 2-2 with Leominster thanks to goals from Meg Price and Megan Dunn.
