For the 2023/24 season our female section will have a clearer pathway. The Women's first team will play in the Midwest Counties League and look to build on an impressive first season in the league. Made up of players aged 16-19 years old the team developed quickly, learnt a lot against older opponents and reached the County Cup Final. All of the players had been part of our junior girls teams previously.
The new development team run by Dani, Nicola and Jim will look to improve on a great league campaign in the Herefordshire Development League. A mix of older and younger players, there is a great team ethos and a welcoming atmosphere.
The two teams will work closer together and thanks to Ross Health and Fitness will have the same new bespoked training shirts fot the season. Players when needed will move between the teams as they support each team.
We are also very excited to be offering next seasons u16 team a chance to train with these teams and play once the girls reach 16. The priority is for them to have a wonderful last season of junior football before moving into senior but this new approach will help with the transiston.
So why not come along to our open training and see what our club has to offer you.
