We wanted to share with you all about one of our clubs members Oliver Slater.
Oliver is a very brave 7-year-old who is facing a tough battle with bone cancer, and his family needs our support.
Oliver and his family are all very much part of our club.
Shaun his dad plays for our veterans, coaches the u7 boys and helps with Oliver’s sisters team, the u12 girls.
Oliver is the loveliest boy you could meet and was an integral part of our u7’s. Unfortunately this brutal disease has stopped Oliver’s football as he is in hospital receiving treatment.
His parents have not been working during this time and it’s putting financial stress on the family. The money raised will help them be there for Oliver, pay for essential bills and cover the additional costs that come with having a loved one in hospital miles away from home. The organisers of this are hoping to raise enough so that they can also have a holiday next year when treatment has finished.
